During a massive strike on Lviv on October 5, one of the churches of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC) sustained damage.

This was reported by the Lviv Archdiocese of the UGCC.

The affected site is the Church of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Maksymovycha Street (Sykhiv district of Lviv).

"Windows were blown out by the blast wave, walls and roof were shredded by shrapnel... The bell tower is almost completely destroyed, the funeral chapel and the Sunday school premises located on the parish grounds are severely damaged," the diocese stated.
