26 buildings damaged In Lviv: New details on the aftermath of the attack
The night shelling caused destruction in Lviv: dozens of windows shattered and roofs torn off. According to the mayor, 17 people will be temporarily relocated.
Damage in Lviv as a result of the August 21 night attack
As a result of the night attack on Lviv on August 21, 26 buildings, a kindergarten, and cars were damaged. Due to the destruction, residents of 11 apartments will have to be relocated.
This was reported by Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.
According to the mayor, following the shelling, an emergency commission was convened in Lviv. Sadovyi informed about the decisions made.
“Due to the destruction, residents of 11 apartments — 17 people — will have to be relocated. Everyone will be placed in temporary housing. The affected will receive compensation for rent,” the mayor’s statement reads.
In total, as a result of the attack, 26 buildings in Lviv were damaged, five roofs torn off, and 155 windows shattered. A kindergarten was also damaged — about 30 windows — and nine cars.
Emergency services reported that all fires in the city had been extinguished. All services are working on site.
